     Title: A Quick Evening Session

Monday 19 August 2013

Out for a quick session on a rock mark i hadnt fished for awhile, it was fairly lively with a 1 to 3 ft swell and a cross onshore north west wind, sea temperature is 19 degrees. I concentrated on fishing a gulley that has produced fish for me in the past. The water was good and clear so i clipped on a nabarone in mullet, i should say this lure is pretty battered so not as shiny, which i think helps sometimes. It wasnt long before i had a hit and fish on but unfortunately this one came off, soon after a nice little fish of two pounds was landed, then a better fish of four pounds hit the lure hard and put up a good scrap in the turbulent water.....
