A good 3ft plus swell greeted me to my mark, fishing it on the dropping tide helped a bit, but it was still a case of waiting for the right moment to get your cast in, to find patches of clear water amongst the fizzing white stuff.
This proved to do the job, as i was hit hard by a nice fish on the shore line shiner, and a good scrap was had in the testing conditions, landing the fish in a gulley, and as ever she was weighed and snapped, to return quickly into the pounding surf, she weighed 5lb and took the plug by my feet and then shot off for freedom.
