A Mornings Guiding
Monday 30 May 2011
Out for a mornings guiding with travelling angler Nick Charter and his son Luke. Nick had a good background in coarse fishing, with some sea fishing experience. Set up with light balanced lure kit, i spent some time with Nick, showing him the technique i use for fishing the Patchinko, over the rough shallow ground.
Nick stuck at his task well, and was rewarded with this nice Bass, which i am holding for him. She was quickly released, to go and fight another day, and fatten up a bit, ready for when Nick comes back and fishes again. Luke, his son, though he didnt catch, showed good casting skills,as he retreived his Feed Shallow, commenting to me that he didnt think he was casting it far enough to catch a Bass, dont worry about that, our freind the bass will often be right by your feet !
