Managed to get out for first light and was rewarded with this lovely bass of 4lb 11oz the best fish of the season so far. Conditions were good , swell, water visability, and she fought hard, stripping line off the clutch, and had a job to keep her out of some large rocks to my right, but she eventually tired, and it was not long before she was on some dry land where i quickly weighed and photographed her, before releasing her into a large rockpool where she swam off strongly, well worth getting up early for !
